Nkisi - Egg Head

The Nkisi Egg Head is a sculpture created by no artist. From the country Congo, the sculpture depicts a human head made of egg-shaped forms and is thought to be a commentary on the fragility and vulnerability of the human condition. It is part of the artist's ongoing series of sculptures which explore the theme of the physical and non-physical.
